This worked
Some dope tossed the inner part of the cap when they changed the filter on our bmw and it kept giving us cam timing codes due to low oil pressure. This fixed it.

Fixed the low oil pressure warning light.
I was unable to drive my car for a few days after getting a low oil pressure warning light, turns out the place that did my oil change last, broke the cage tip inside the cap. I’m able to finally enjoy my X5 again and just for under $20. Definitely recommended for N54/N55 platforms.

Solved my oil pressure pop up on screen
In one of my previous oil changes the mechanic tossed the little cage that’s in the cap so oil pressure warning kept appearing.I replaced with this one and issue solved.

Works as intended
My local mechanic lost the center cage from my oil filter cap during my last oil change. I replaced the OEM with this unit. Worked out fine, no leaks, but might be a fraction smaller that the OEM. When I attempted to torque it down the filter cap wrench would slip.

Perfect fit and Stopped the oil leak
2007 525xi which leaked oil from the oil filter housing when the engine is running even with new o ring and torqued down properly. Once this replacement was put on, no more oil leak! And the price is right.

It’s just a ordinary plastic.
I really regret buying it. Poor quality. It can’t withstand high temperature and pressure at all, resulting in oil leakage everywhere.

Gasket warped
Everything was good until I was driving and I could smell fresh oil. I stopped and noticed a cm of the gasket was torn and oil was pumping into the engine. Luckily I had a spare in the car and lost only about half a quart. It could have been terrible. Very fortunate.

Poor fitment. The stock oil filter fits loose in the housing. I had to buy the OEM unit from somewhere else.

Spend the extra and buy OE.
Be very careful when ordering this. I thought I could save a few bucks but it broke after the first oil change which was 4000 miles on Mobil 1 oil. Luckily I had my old filter housing in my tool box or I would have been stuck on a sunday morning.
